Moscow to Berlin is the fourth installment of the Real-Time Strategy (RTS) cycle, referring to the turbulent events on the fronts of World War II and developed by the Digital Reality team.

In the first part of the series, Desert Rats vs. Afrika Korps, players fought in North Africa, in D-Day ("two") warfare focused on landing the Allies in Normandy, and the third game - 1944: Battle of the Bulge - represented the largest German counter-attack of 1944, which took place in the Ardennes. This time, developers have offered players the opportunity to take part in the bloodiest battles on the eastern front.

In total, the programme contains three extensive campaigns, consisting of twenty scenarios in total. The struggle begins when Nazi Germany breaks the pact with the Soviet Union. In the game we take part in a great offensive, stopped only near Moscow, mainly due to the cold Russian winter. We are also fighting in the Battle of Stalingrad, and we are starting a counter-attack towards Berlin, where the second greatest armed conflict in the history of mankind is to be ended steadily.

During the battle, under the command of the player there are about 80 different units, including as many as fifteen typical only for the eastern front (e.g. IL-2 Sturmovik planes, T-34, Elephant, or KV-1 tanks). A great deal of attention has been paid here to the strategic aspect of the art of war: military management, earlier planning of attacks or ambushes.

As far as graphics are concerned, Moscow to Berlin uses an improved version of Digital Reality's own graphics engine, known for example from previous versions of the series. In addition to the extensive singleleplayer mode, the developers of the program also prepared ten maps for multiplayer competition (on the local network or on the Internet).
