Release Date: December 20, 2017
A simple puzzle game created by ClockStone studio in the agreement with Valve company, and a crossover of Portal and Bridge Constructor series. The players must build various and often complex constructions in order to safely transport the cargo from one side of the map to the other. There are many obstacles to overcome, including turrets, lasers and acid pools.
Bridge Constructor Portal is a simple puzzle game developed for PC, consoles and mobile devices. It is the work of ClockStone studio in agreement with Valve company and it combines two series: the 2013’s Bridge Constructor and 2007’s Portal.
The story of Bridge Constructor Portal for PC, iOS and etc. takes place before the events of first and second Portal. Players act as a new employee of Aperture Science Enrichment Center responsible for building experimental bridges and ramps. Guided by artificial intelligence GlaDOS, well known from its role in previous games from Valve’s series (and again voiced by Ellen McLain), they must complete 60 different challenges of rising difficulty to become the best at this job.
Players’ task in Bridge Constructor Portal is the same as in previous entries of ClockStone’s series – transport the truck or their entire convoy from point A to point B. There are many obstacles the can interfere with that, like gaps, turrets, lasers and acid pools. To make sure the vehicles avoid them, players must cleverly use available resources to build durable constructions. However, wood and steel alone won’t be of any use in Aperture Science Enrichment Center, requiring use of elements known for Portal franchise, including gels, which change properties of a surface, ramps, cubes and – of course – titular portals.
When building bridges, it is important to pay attention not only to the way they are constructed, but also their cost. Each trial features some limitations to budget, and the price will affect a final score of a challenge.
Audiovisuals of Bridge Constructor Portal uses the style known from Portal series, with futuristic and sterile environment enhancing the feeling of being tested. Noteworthy are carefully recreated physics, especially recreation of pressure force on each part of a construction – a hallmark of Bridge Constructor series.

Game Ratings for Bridge Constructor Portal Video Game.
ZTGD: 7.5 / 10 by Sophie Halliday
Bridge Constructor Portal is not the Portal game many would have been expecting, but with the reassuring presence of GLaDOS and the Companion Cubes (also, coincidently, the name of my new band), it's nevertheless enough to scratch that 'fun with portals' itch left in the wake of Portal 2.
DualShockers: 8.5 / 10 by Tanner Pierce
Simply put Bridge Constructor Portal is a great puzzle game. It's fair but challenging, it includes a ton of levels, and best of all it feels like a part of the world of Aperture Science, while at the same time feeling like it's own separate entry in the franchise. At $14.99 I can absolutely recommend it to both hardcore fans of puzzle games and Portal, as well as casual gamers. It's certainly no Portal 3 (and I don't really think anyone was expecting it to be), but there's no doubt in my mind that this title is worthy of the Portal name in every way, and I can't wait to see what other creative ideas developers can do with the license in the future.
Nintendo Life: 7 / 10 by Mitch Vogel
Bridge Constructor Portal is a fun and engaging puzzle game that does a great job of appealing to players of all skill levels while offering a relatively hefty amount of content. Though it sometimes feels like an awkward port and it doesn't always make the most of the crossover potential, it gets the core mechanics of puzzle solving right, and there's more than enough quality here to satisfy those looking to scratch that itch on the Switch. We'd give Bridge Constructor Portal a strong suggestion to anybody looking for a fun puzzle game on the eShop; this is a game that constantly makes you think outside the box, and there's nothing else like it available at the moment.
