In Pizza Slice, the action is presented from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the gameplay , we play the role of Tonio, who inherited an Italian pizzeria in the heart of New York City from his good grandfather Stefano. We can achieve the desired effect by serving real Italian pizza of the highest quality. To do this, it is not enough to obtain the necessary ingredients, but also to skillfully use the cookbook left by the doyen, in which the secret recipes are written. Based on these , we prepare the pizza ourselves, cutting vegetables, mushrooms and other toppings, then placing them on the dough and putting the whole thing in the oven.

At the same time, we can't afford to do anything "by the book," because there may be a mysterious reviewer lurking among the customers. We also have to take care of cleanliness, as there is no shortage of sanitary inspections. As if that were not enough, we may fall prey to competitors capable of sabotage. Complementing the problems you have to deal with is the mafia that prowls the city.

All this makes the road to success long and bumpy, so there is no shortage of situations that can bring trouble on our heads and even lead to bankruptcy. Admittedly, we are not alone, as we are helped by our lazy cousin Alfonso, but it is fair to say that he is not made for work.
