Prehistoric Kingdom is an economic strategy that allows us to play the role of a manager of a kind of Jurassic Park variation. The game was developed by the Blue Meridian team and released by Crytivo.

Mechanics

In Prehistoric Kingdom the action is shown from the top-down view. The game starts with a certain amount of cash and an extensive area where we can build our own zoo for prehistoric creatures. Among them we will find various species of dinosaurs (such as tyrannosaurs, triceratops or brontosaurs), as well as mammoths or smilodons (saber-toothed tigers). As each of them is adapted to live in different conditions, we have to plant jungles, dig up artificial rivers and even form hills within enclosures. When the range of creatures available is no longer sufficient for us, we will be forced to research genetic materials. The genetic materials will not only allow us to discover completely new species, but will also give us greater possibilities to modify the appearance of those already existing.

Of course, we need money for all of this, so we should care as much about the satisfaction of visitors to our park as we care about the creatures that inhabit it. The visitors will be attracted not only by the wide range of presented species, but also (and perhaps even most importantly) by the extensive infrastructure. Therefore, without numerous toilets, restaurants, souvenir shops or cafés, we will certainly fail quickly. The list of duties resting on our shoulders is crowned by the need to hire employees who will take care of both our charges and the safety of our customers.

Technical aspects

Prehistoric Kingdom has a high-quality graphic design. Prehistoric reptiles and other creatures presented in our park, as well as the lush vegetation that grows in the park, can be appealing.
