Release Date: TBA
An unannounced multiplayer shooter from Ubisoft, inspired by Apex Legends. Project Scout (codename) will run on Unreal Engine 5 and offer large-scale online player battles (likely in a battle royale format).
Although it might seem that after the setback experienced with the game XDefiant, Ubisoft would be "burned" by competitive online shooters. The French giant apparently has a different perspective on the matter. Project Scout is the code name for the next project of this type in the publisher's portfolio, which has not yet received an official announcement.
According to unofficial reports, the creators of Project Scout were inspired by Apex Legends. As a result, the discussed game will be a large-scale first-person shooter (FPS) set in a science fiction universe, where the core of the gameplay will be player competition (likely in a battle royale format). Thanks to cross-play functionality, players on different platforms will be able to play together.
Additionally, it is said that the game will be powered by Unreal Engine 5 technology.
