Pummel Party is a social game filled with crazy humor. It was developed by an independent studio Rebuilt Games.

Mechanics

The gameplay in Pummel Party is based on two pillars. The first is turn-based board game, which takes place on a variety of maps. Together with other players we move our characters across successive fields, on the way gaining keys that can be exchanged for gold cups. The player who manages to collect the most of them wins. What spices up the gameplay is the fact that as we progress we also gain various items, which we can use both to increase our chances of winning and to make life difficult for the other players. For example, a rocket hurts all characters that get in its way, while a player hit with a boxing glove immediately dies. Apart from that, there are fields on the board which inflict damage to anyone who stands on them, as well as places which we can take over. It is worth remembering that each character has a limited number of life points, after using them up, he returns to the game on a special field used for respawning.

The second pillar of gameplay are mini-games, in which players face each other after each round. How we do in them has an impact not only on the prize we receive, but also on which place in the queue to make a move we get in the next round on the board. The game offers a wide range of various mini-games. There is a place for simple races, platform challenges and rhythm game, as well as a TPP shooter.

Game modes

Pummel Party allows to play alone (then we fight with bots), but it spreads its wings in multiplayer mode. We can play with other players locally or over the Internet.

Technical aspects

Despite the fact that graphics of Pummel Party is in colorful, cartoon style, production is surprisingly gory.
