Serial Cleaners is a continuation of unusual Polish stealth game set in the 70s. First part of the series was released on PC and all major platforms in 2017, and two years later it was also released on iOS mobile devices. The second part of the series was created in the same studio - Draw Distance, formerly known as iFun4All.
Serial Cleaners takes us two decades forward, to the 1990s. Four professional "cleaners" meet in New York City to clean crime scenes from uncomfortable objects, bodies and blood traces. Experts begin to share their experiences, but it soon turns out that their stories get tangled up and players learn the dirty truth about the last decade of the 20th century.
The gameplay scheme known from Serial Cleaner remained unchanged. So we have an action game with elements of sneaking around, where our goal is to clean up the bloody crime scene before the police arrive. The novelty is the presence of four different characters. Each of them has a slightly different approach to their profession, preferring brutal force, street cunning or modern technology. This allows us to deal with each challenge in several ways, depending on the chosen character and our preferences.
As in the previous version, Serial Cleaners offers single player mode only.
Although the developers have essentially retained the distinctive style known from the first part, Serial Cleaners has moved away from two-dimensional graphics to 3D. The visual setting is not particularly realistic, putting on a simple, somewhat comic book-like convention.
