In The Reckoning, we play as a member of an elite reconnaissance squad that has been dropped onto the Strogg planet to investigate one of the cities there. The player's task is to get through the rocky labyrinths, exterminate the enemies inhabiting the city and then steal the alien ship and destroy their moon base.
