A racing game developed by Sonic Team studio and published by the Sega company. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds allows us to play as our favorite characters from the Sonic games. We participate in crazy races, trying to be the first to reach the finish line. The game offers crazy power-ups, including those allowing to send our competitors to other dimensions.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is a racing game featuring characters known from the Sonic series. The game was developed by Sonic Team studio, which oversees the development of the brand, while its release was handled by Sega company.
In Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, we play as various heroes and heroines that we know from the adventures of the supersonic hedgehog - Sonic (he himself also appears here as a playable character). We control vehicles and machines and take part in races on land, sea and air. The knowledge of the routes and dexterity are very important, but we must also make use of the power-ups.
The biggest novelty compared to other racing games under the Sonic banner are teleporters that transport competitors between dimensions. Thanks to them, characters fighting for a place at the finish line end up in diametrically different locations (for example - moving from a futuristic track to a dinosaur land).
The game also allows us to create our own vehicle. Additionally, special skills are waiting to be unlocked here, giving us an advantage over opponents.
We can play Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds alone or in multiplayer mode. We can have fun with other players over the Internet or on a split screen.

Sonic Racing: Crossworlds is a major competitor to Mario Kart, offering an air of fresh winds that will surely carry it beyond this release and into the future. From the presentation to the audio, and of course, the addictive gameplay, this is a fantastic offering across platforms that finally gives Sonic new legs to stand on.
Gaming Age: 7.5 / 10 by Matthew Pollesel
In any other year it would stand head and shoulders above the competition. But in a year like this, where we can compare and contrast CrossWorlds with Mario Kart World so easily, its faults seem a lot more glaring. As it stands, it’s a very solid kart racer that has the misfortune of being compared to one that’s just more enjoyable.
ZTGD: 9 / 10 by Anthony Mann
I paid over $100 Canadian for this game, and it was worth every penny. I wasn’t sure what to expect with Sonic Team taking over but I’m extremely impressed. I wish there were more courses (especially ones based on other SEGA properties) but there’s still 5 more DLC courses to be released and I’ll be there every time one launches to take part in the accompanying event.
