Sonic Forces utilizes the third person perspective. Like in the previous games of the franchise, you traverse the maps full of obstacles and enemies, and collect golden rings.

Similarly as that game, Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice is a colorful, two-dimensional platform game divided into levels and filled with action sequences and puzzles.
