Squad: Fireteam

A tactical online shooter titled Squad was released back in 2020. It featured battles with up to 100 players and it debuted on PCs. Years later, the Offworld Industries studio responsible for it prepared an expansion titled Fireteam, introducing a new mode focusing on more intimate mission execution.

New features in the expansion

Squad: Fireteam introduces the titular gameplay variant, for which cooperative missions with varied objectives have been prepared (some of them are free, while others require payment). During these missions, we engage in tasks such as eliminating designated targets, destroying specific objects, or evacuating from enemy territory.

These missions are designed so that all objectives are clear from the start, and the game can be played even with a small group of 5 people. Additionally, the DLC does not require us to wait in server queues and sort by ping, as it offers the possibility of connecting through peer-to-peer, where one of the participants hosts the session.
