The second expansion to the remastered version of the iconic strategy game from FireFly Studios. Stronghold: Crusader - Definitive Edition: The Sergeant & The Lioness DLC introduces two new titular rulers. We face them across 9 handcrafted missions.
After the release of Stronghold: Crusader - Definitive Edition, a refreshed version of the iconic 2002 strategy game, the team FireFly Studios behind its development, began expanding it. In October 2025, the British team released the first major expansion, followed by a second expansion, which is Stronghold: Crusader - Definitive Edition: The Sergeant & The Lioness described here.
Similar to the previous add-on, Stronghold: Crusader - Definitive Edition: The Sergeant & The Lioness focuses on two new rulers. The Lioness is a true specialist in offense and economic development, commanding Arab and Bedouin soldiers. The Sergeant, on the other hand, utilizes the strength of his units on the battlefield, prioritizing it over strategy.
The individual lords are differentiated in terms of tactics used on the battlefield, as well as their strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, they are equipped with unique castle fortifications waiting to be captured by our troops, and their dialogue lines are voiced.
We face the new lords across nine missions that require us to perform things like effectively using siege engines.
