A fantasy turn-based strategy game with RPG elements developed by American studio Underbite Games. Super Dungeon Tactics takes us to a fantasy world of Crystalia, and the action focuses on the Dark Consul whom we have to defeat by leading a guild of heroes and managing our party of adventurers that possess various skills. In the game, we explore randomly generated levels and complete a number of primary and secondary quests.

Plot

Super Dungeon Tactics takes us to a fantasy world of Crystalia. The action is focused on the Dark Consul whom we have to defeat, playing as a master of a hero guild commanding a party of adventurers.

Mechanics

The game offers 16 characters that we create a guild with to face the Dark Consul. The adventurers will have to defeat over 70 types of various enemies. Combat is turn-based and bases both on planning and random factors. Apart from the main storyline, the title features a number of side quests connected to exploration of Crystalia as well as many missions that let us obtain unique equipment and other rewards.

The character development is quite interesting. Following the “no one gets left behind” rule, it is connected not only to experience but also to equipment that can increase its owner’s level. Each character has a different set of abilities. The title also allows us to get temporary boosts and special bonuses. It is also worth mentioning that heroes’ special abilities are significantly influenced by a dice roll that determines their scope and usability.

Technical aspects

Super Dungeon Tactics for PC features three-dimensional randomly generated levels. The gameplay is presented in an isometric view with the possibility of manipulating the camera freely. The graphics are easy on the eye and cartooney.
