LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is a sequel to the 2013 platform/action game LEGO Marvel Super Heroes developed by Traveller's Tales. This time we will have to face Kang the Conqueror who travels in time and causes turmoil in various eras across the history. Once again we will be able to play as several dozen Marvel characters, including Thor, Hulk, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy.

The story of the game is loosely based on the plot of the movie. However, it is just an excuse for the actual gameplay. They don't know, however, that the planet is inhabited by real superheroes drawn by Stan Lee. Interestingly, the artist has much more to do there, as he appears in the game as the leader of an organization called Hero Command, which sends out heroes to do various missions.
