An original simulator of a martian planetary rover, developed by Bohemia Interactive, the Czech developer team also responsible for the helicopter simulator, Take on Helicopters, and two famous military simulation franchises - Operation Flashpoint and ArmA. The game aims at realistically representing a research mission on Mars and simulating the behavior of martian rovers, including an extensive damage model. Take on Mars offers two game modes.

Take on Mars for PC is a simulator of research mission's planetary rovers on the Red Planet. It was produced by Bohemia Interactive studio. Game aims at realistically representing exploration of the titular planet. We take the lead of one of several rovers and landers, and armed with cutting-edge research tools we deal with scientific missions.

Game modes

Take on Mars for PC offers a campaign mode and single missions. In the first of these modes we are in control of the space agency. Our task, in addition to exploring Mars, is to conduct research on new technologies and construct more advanced equipment. All of this in order to cope with challenges of increasing difficulty. In contrast, single missions focus solely on traversing the surface of the Red Planet and performing specific tasks.
