The Elder Scrolls: Legends - Moons of Elsweyr

The Elder Scrolls: Legends - Moons of Elsweyr is the fourth add-on to the spin-off card game of the The Elder Scrolls series. The DLC is based on an expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online, which added the title desert land - the home of the Khajiit cat race and many necromancers.

Mechanics

The main attraction of Moons of Elsweyr are 75 new cards, including the first Khajiits. Many of the latter use the added keyword Pilfer, which gives specific benefits after attacking an opposing player with a particular creature. There was also room for new mechanics, in which every two rounds the phases of the eponymous twin moons change. This is directly linked to the two new keywords: Wax and Wane. Thanks to them, some cards have different functions depending on the phase of the moons at the time of playing them. The expansion also introduces mechanics connected directly with necromancy. Absorption enables us to remove discarded cards from the game to gain useful bonuses.

Technical and other aspects

Apart from new cards, Moons of Elsweyr add new music tracks and a new board. The visuals remain practically unchanged in comparison to the base game. On the other hand, the artists added another ready-made thematic decks.
