The Elder Scrolls Online: Scions of Ithelia

Scions of Ithelia is a small expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online MMORPG. It serves as a plot introduction to a larger expansion - the Gold Road chapter. The production is handled by ZeniMax Online studio, which belongs to Bethesda Softworks company.

Plot

A group of forest elves, calling themselves Recollection, almost completely wiped out the most fervent group of Malacath followers, the Oathsworn, and took control over their training grounds. The player has been chosen by the Daedric Prince to avenge his fallen warriors and regain control over the Oathsworn Pit, with the help of the orc Bazrag.

Fa-Nuit-Hen, the legendary warrior Demiprince from the Maelstrom, who was already featured in the Orsinium expansion, also has problems. His ancient treasury in Oblivion, Bedlam Veil, was attacked by the cultists of the Blind Path. He could use the player's help in protecting the mysterious artifact hidden there.

Mechanics

The expansion introduces two four-player PvE dungeons - Oathsworn Pit and Bedlam Veil. Among the novelties, there are also collectible items, paints, achievements and titles, as well as eight new sets of equipment.

Technical aspects

The expansion is not standalone and requires the base version of the game to run.
