The Nations is a sequel to the strategic game of colonization, settlement building, development and expansion entitled The Alien Nations. Just like in Settlers, the main emphasis is on development and construction and not on fighting. We can choose from three breeds: Pimmons, Amazons and Sajikis, each of which has unique features and skills. The game can be ended in two different ways, satisfying both players who like brutal force and those who solve problems peacefully. The player decides for himself whether the goal will be to conquer all other races, or rather to unite them under peaceful rule.

Many new opportunities have emerged in The Nations, such as the establishment of trade routes or the diplomatic resolution of conflicts. An important innovation is the introduction of divisions within races, each of which consists of several different tribes. We begin by controlling one of them, making decisions that will satisfy the subjects, bringing wealth and prosperity to the country. If we are able to satisfy all the needs of our tribe, others will join us. You can even try to unite all the tribes to form one large state.

Advanced Artificial Intelligence manages all units, both enemy and ours, by completing the tasks assigned to them. They also have their own invention, for example, in building houses on their own when they find enough space in an inhabitable area.

  • Each character has its own appearance, including gender differentiation.
  • A day divided into day and night cycles.
  • Realistic population growth by birth.
  • Significant differences between races, each of which has its own unique skills.
