The Ratline, a detective thriller adventure from independent studio Owlskip Games, allows you to arrange a kind of "hunt" for such individuals.
In The Ratline, we view events from a first-person perspective (FPP). During the gameplay we play the role of an investigator who performs his duties behind a desk. The protagonist meticulously examines documents, photographs and objects obtained, carefully studies various information and clues, and makes telephone contacts with people from all over the world, from Rome to Buenos Aires.
In this way, step by step, we learn about the post-war fates of the various fugitives, and, above all, establish their new identities and whereabouts, which consequently allows them to be brought to justice.
The story told in The Ratline begins with the murder of a Catholic priest in Budapest in 1971. It leads to the discovery of a secret list of criminals who managed to remain free thanks to the titular network. Our task is to make sure that justice reaches each of them.
