A turn-based strategy game for mobile devices, based on the popular TV series by AMC Network. The Walking Dead: No Man's Land takes us to a post-apocalyptic world overrun by the living dead, while the production’s plot is strictly connected to the TV series. Gameplay-wise, it is a classic turn-based strategy game. While playing, we command a small group of humans who fight hordes of hungry zombies.
The Walking Dead: No Man's Land is a real-time strategy game for iOS and AND and an adaptation of the popular comic and TV franchise. The production was developed by Next Games.
The action takes place in a world in which the human civilization was destroyed by an epidemic of the living dead. Instead of basing on the original comic by Robert Kirkman, the plot of the title is connected strictly to the TV series. The players assume command over a group of survivors trained by Daryl Dixon himself. The game also features the music and actors from the TV series.
The campaign is divided into episodes during which we can visit many locations known from the comic original. Gameplay-wise, it is a classical turn-based strategy game. We control a small unit of humans who fight against hordes of hungry zombies. Despite the fact that a handful of the undead aren’t a threat to our subordinates, enemies most often roam the maps in very large groups that can easily overrun our team. This is why we have to control crowds of zombies and avoid confrontation with too numerous groups.
Between missions, we develop and manage our base. It is necessary to construct buildings, gather resources, issue commands to survivors, and manage what little resources we have. The decisions made in this mode have a direct influence on the composition and equipment of the units that we take to missions. The Walking Dead: No Man's Land for iOS and AND is incredibly ruthless: every death is permanent and human losses can’t be completely avoided. This is why we have to replenish our personnel and often make morally difficult decisions about who lives and who dies.
