An adventure game, in which we assume control of three heroes – an old person, an adult, and a child who face various problems. In The Way of Life: Definitive Edition, the action is seen from a first person perspective – the game makes use of mechanics seen in walking simulators and platform games, but the currently utilized mechanics are determined by the individual capabilities and limitations of the controlled character.

The Way of Life: Definitive Edition is an adventure game developed by an independent CyberCoconut. The idea for the game was devised during one of the game jams, and the prototype version was released for free and is known as The Way of Life Free Edition.

Plot

In The Way of Life: Definitive Edition, the players assume control of three heroes: an old person, an adult, and a child. The protagonists, who see the world in different ways, have to face various life-related problems, such as euthanasia, death penalty, love, and discrimination. In the course of the game, we have to undertake over seventy decisions, which influence the story and its ending. The non-linear structure of the story definitely adds to the replayability factor of the game.
