This Bed We Made is a noir adventure game developed by an indie studio Lowbirth Games.

Plot

This Bed We Made is set in 1958. Its protagonist is Sophie, a maid working at the Clarington hotel. Lives of other people fascinate her, and so, she tends to browse through the hotel guests' belongings while they're away. Her curiosity leads to her stumbling upon the trail of a dark secret. The key to solving it and to discovering the ties between different guests are their possessions. It's up to us how Sophie's story and her investigation unfold.

Mechanics

This Bed We Made is a third-person game. The player traverses the corridors and rooms of the hotel, talking to people inside and browsing the visitors' rooms in search of clues. Over time, this gives us answers we seek and gets us closer to solving the main mystery.

We can also establish relationships with some guests and staff, among whom we'll find both enemies and allies; clever Beth and the intelligent Andrew can both help us solve the mystery. Occasionally we'll also need to make choices affecting the further course of the story.

Technical aspects

This Bed We Made features high-quality visuals. The intricately designed, detailed objects we'll investigate are especially appealing.
