Thrasher is a musical action game with racing elements. It was developed by Puddle, an indie studio founded by Brian Gibson (known for Thumper) and Mike Mandel (known for Rock Band, Fuser and Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved).
Thrasher is a third-person game. We play as a cosmic eel, traversing the void at a dazzling pace. We must rush forward, avoid obstacles, face powerful bosses, diving, lunging and dodging their attacks. Our eel can evolve, turning from a small worm into a massive beast, its moves and attacks chaining into powerful combos. Our performance is scored and we can share it with the others through the global online leaderboards.
Thrasher features an extremely colorful, borderline psychedelic artstyle. The locations and models are very abstract, barely resembling the reality we know. The dynamic electronic soundtrack increases the pace even further.
The game supports VR headsets and motion controllers.
