Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble is a continuation of Tiny Metal. It is a turn-based strategy that draws inspiration from classic Japanese representatives of the genre, such as Advance Wars series. The game was created by Studio Area 35.
Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble revolves around Commander Wolfram. Together with her unit called White Fangs, she sets off to look for her brother. She must face Dinoldan troops who want to capture ancient technology capable of destroying humanity. The whole story, written by Hirotaka Inaba (I am Setsuna), consists of a total of 39 missions.
Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble is an extension of its predecessor in terms of gameplay mechanics. Again, it's a turn-based strategy with action shown fromthe top-down perspective. The game revolves around commanding numerous units described by a series of statistics. Elements of the environment play a very important role. In addition to the uneven terrain, the fog of war can also be used to gain an advantage, facilitating surprise attacks.
The biggest changes in production include secrets of various kinds, which players can discover on individual maps. Additional tasks, which can be performed during the mission, have also been introduced.
Tiny Metal: Full Metal Rumble is based on Unreal Engine and delivers cartoon-like visuals. Also noteworthy is the soundtrack written by Tomoki Miyoshi, who created music for such games as I Am Setsuna, Lost Sphear and Steins;Gate.
