Tribe Nation

Gameplay

In Tribe Nation we observe events from a bird's eye view. The path of our Celts leads through places scattered all over Western Europe. Our tribe encounters other inhabitants of the continent, with whom they can trade and experience various adventures (presented in the form of text descriptions).

As we progress, we discover the secrets of the druids, as well as delve into the mysteries of the warrior and tribal knowledge. We also gather useful resources and create weapons and armor (which we equip our soldiers with), or construct war machines.

Battles

Traveling around Europe, our tribe regularly encounters Romans, with whom they must fight. The battles take place in real time, on randomly generated arenas covered with a grid of hexagonal fields. The key to success here is not only skillful use of the available units, but also the selection of the right formation and the use of various tactical maneuvers, led by attacking enemies from the flank.

After achieving victory, we can choose how to treat the defeated adversaries. The game offers three levels of brutality with which we can deal with enemies. Even though the bloody solution seems the most beneficial, as it provides us with the most resources, the news of our cruel deeds will quickly spread around the area, which will later cause the Romans to throw larger forces against us. For this reason, sometimes it's worth giving up some resources in favor of a slightly calmer journey through the continent.
