War Room is a strategy game set in a reality inspired by historical events - during the war in Afghanistan. The player assumes the role of commander of American forces and tries to secure the region. The game is characterized by a high level of realism. The Polish company Binge Gaming OU is responsible for its creation and release (this is the debut project of this developer).
The war in Afghanistan began in 2001. Targeted against the country's control regime - Taliban - NATO offensive came in response to the World Trade Center attack carried out by Osama bin Laden. War Room takes place in a fictional province inspired by a real region of Afghanistan.
War Room is a strategy game in which you play the role of commander of the forces responsible for securing the province in an area of one thousand square kilometers - the map takes into account the specifics of the landscape and is full of unique locations - including fields, buildings, bases. The area can be viewed using drones with different modes of vision - e.g. FLIR, night vision.
These devices are also used to coordinate military operations (so we usually watch the action from above, but the camera is mobile). We have over twenty different types of units at our disposal - infantry, bombers, tanks. At the same time, it is worth noting that our direct tasks include controlling the troops, fulfilling the goals of the mission, and taking care of the security and morale of our army. The game is characterized by a high level of realism. For example, wounded soldiers call for help and try to retreat to safety.
In War Room, we can only play alone. The basis of the game is the single player mode.
War Room has decent three-dimensional graphics. Like the rest of the game, it has a quite high level of realism. Graphics well reflect the appearance of Afghan provinces as well as contemporary combat units and their armaments. This is complemented by good light and molecular effects
