What the Fog is an action game with roguelike elements, which is a spin-off of the very popular Dead by Daylight. The game was developed by Behaviour Interactive, the studio in charge of the brand, and allows us to play as Dwight, Claudette, and Feng Min, who were drawn into a cursed board game.

Mechanics

In What the Fog we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP). The game takes place in a fantasy land, which is in fact the surface of a board game. During the game we traverse this twisted and dangerous location (procedurally generated), jumping on platforms and avoiding various terrain obstacles, as well as facing hordes of enemies.

We encounter all sorts of monsters, which we eliminate, making use of a wide range of weapons and magical combat skills. Apart from regular enemies, from time to time we have to face bosses who are much more powerful.
