When Sirens Fall Silent

Founded in 2010, LKA is an independent Italian development studio based in Florence. Over the years, the team has specialized in creating psychological thrillers, delivering games such as The Town of Light (2016) and Martha is Dead (2022). Their third work in a similar convention is titled When Sirens Fall Silent and set in Italy in the early 1990s.

Gameplay

In When Sirens Fall Silent the action is viewed from a first-person perspective (FPP).

Interrogations

The driving force of the game is the investigation conducted by the main character. It leads us through various locations based on real places. We meet diverse characters with whom we engage in conversations and conduct interrogations. These last ones are not only about the necessity of paying attention to every word, but also force us to carefully observe the facial expressions of our interlocutors and their body language.

Puzzles

In addition, we solve puzzles in the game and they require interacting with elements of the environment or using specific items. Among the intellectual challenges we face, there is no shortage of examining the bodies of victims. In this way, we gradually gather evidence and clues that bring us closer to the final resolution of the case.
