Speech Pack is a special add-on to Privateer – a space simulator with the economic elements, being a part of the Wing Commander series. It doesn’t add any new missions or features. Its sole purpose is to enrich the soundtrack with the spoken dialogues which replace the text communicates displayed during the space exploration.
In order to work properly, Speech Pack requires full version of the diskette issue of Privateer (the CD issue already comes with this expansion). Because the add-on add sounds only to space communication, it works just fine with the basic version of the game and the Righteous Fire expansion, as well.
