We command a small group of scientists and soldiers who hid themselves from a nuclear apocalypse. Now, they come out on the surface of our devastated planet and fight for the remaining supplies. W.N.C. Infantry is characterized by its fast-pace gameplay and small scale of battles.
W.N.C. Infantry is a PC post-apo real-time strategy, which emphasizes multiplayer, fast-paced gameplay, and a relatively small scale of action. This is a work of Ukrainian team Farom Studio, which previously made an impact on the market by releasing several mobile shooters that belonged in the Bad Day series, as well as running a successful Steam Greenlight campaign for the survival FPS Bad Day: Rebellion.
W.N.C. Infantry for PC is set on Earth, in the year 2048, after a nuclear apocalypse. You take command of a small group of scientists and soldiers who managed to hide from the annihilation and now come out to the devastated surface of the planet to fight for remaining resources.
As it was mentioned before, gameplay is characterized by relatively small scale. Each unit is worth its weight in gold — when damaged, vehicles should be fixed rather than substituted with new ones. The key to victory is not sheer numbers, but the way you command your army. Besides, you must also expand the base and upgrade units.
Other players have an important role in W.N.C. Infantry. The game invites them to join together in clans in order to capture new territories and defend the ones already owned more effectively. Apart from that, there are occasional co-op missions for up to 8 players.
Creating W.N.C. Infantry for PC the developers used Unreal Engine 4, which resulted in achieving impressive visuals characterized by high fidelity, fully destructible environments, as well as dynamic day and night and weather cycles.
