The third expansion for the "communist city builder" from 2024. Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic - Early Start allows us to proceed with building cities in the 1930s. This is related to managing an economy based on mining coal. We must also deal with various technological restrictions. We can play on 2 new maps, trying to build Moscow and Saint Petersburg.

Workers & Resources Soviet Republic - Early Start is the third (after Biomes and World Maps) expansion to the city builder strategy game released in 2024 (as a full version). The game is about building our own Soviet republic from scratch. Similar to the base version, the expansion was developed by 3Division Entertainment studio.

New features in the expansion

As the title suggests, Workers & Resources Soviet Republic - Early Start gives us the opportunity to start building our socialist paradise earlier. The add-on allows us to decide whether we want to start the game in the 1930s, 1940s or 1950s (which are added to the later decades from the base version of the game).

Weaker engines and coal as the basis of industry

An earlier start means having to face challenges that fade into oblivion in later years. We must plan our cities, taking into account the lower performance of vehicles and machines. We can use previously unavailable models from the era - from cars, buses and trucks, through trains and trams, to airplanes and ships.
