Yaga is a typical representative of isometric action RPG genre. The player moves around the game world, performing tasks for NPCs and fighting in real time. The perception of the protagonist by other characters depends on it - the better the reputation of the protagonist, the better the offers at vendors and the greater the chance to discover various secrets. In addition, the player can receive a blessing if he achieves a high reputation rating.

The production draws inspiration from Slavic beliefs and folklore. In the game we will find good spirits who will bless Ivan, or evil beings who can curse him. Old Slavic beliefs and superstitions are the key to defending against them. The character progression system also uses pagan motifs. The player can develop Ivan's skills with the help of various talismans in the game world. In addition, the possibility of combining them in order to achieve more powerful capabilities has been implemented.

As befits a game about a blacksmith, Yaga does not lack crafting. The player can create a number of weapons and tools that will be useful during the game. In addition, it is also possible to improve the weapons built earlier.

Technical aspects

Yaga is characterized by charming two-dimensional and cartoonish graphics. The visual setting is inspired by Slavic culture, which was additionally emphasized by the soundtrack created by the folk band Subcarpati.
