Zoopunk

In 2021, the Chinese studio TiGames released a warmly received metroidvania titled F.I.S.T.: Forged in Shadow Torch. The next game from this team is the adventure action production described here, titled Zoopunk. It serves as a prequel to the studio's previous project.

Gameplay

In Zoopunk the action is viewed from a third-person perspective (TPP).

Diverse characters

The game offers us three animal characters, differentiated by size and appearance, as well as combat skills. The rabbit Rayton is agile and fast, specializing in melee combat. The squirrel Trixie focuses on acrobatics and a "hit-and-run" combat tactic (attacking and retreating). The rhinoceros Braton, wielding a fiery sword, is a sort of walking "tank" who may be the slowest of the trio but can take the most damage.

Locations and combat

The adventure takes us through various locations, including a volcanic industrial complex, the territory of nomadic mechanics and wanderers, a sanctuary of purity, or a ruined military citadel. As we explore these areas, we meet the inhabitants of the game world, complete quests that push the story forward, and, most importantly, engage in dynamic battles with opponents. We must stay in constant motion on the battlefield and skillfully utilize the strengths of our character.
