Just Cause 3: Abandon Ship

Get back to the rebel camp where Mario is to start this mission. Soon you will learn that Di Ravello is preparing a massive attack on your base - as you've probably guessed, you will be defending your base from the enemy forces.

This mission is one of the most difficult in the entire game, as you will be constantly attacked from different sides. During the mission you will be facing enemy soldiers, paratroopers, boats, warship-like boats, as well as helicopters and armored vehicles. The enemies will storm from literally all directions, which means that you will have to constantly be on the move.
The direction the enemy forces come from is as follows:
- Regular soldiers will come at you from the cave located on the other side of the map. To eliminate them, you can use the nearby minigun - it will be enough to take care of enemy armored vehicles.
- Tanks, armored vehicles and a small number of helicopters will come from the same side as the soldiers. To eliminate them, you can either use the minigun (aside from tanks), or your special weapon. The Leech rocket launcher is extremely effective here - a single rocket can destroy multiple targets. The Leech is available for pickup at every ammo cabinet in the area.
- Paratroopers will arrive from the air. You can deal with them by hitting them with your rope (but don't pull yourself towards them). It will cause them to lose the parachute and hit the ground - even if they survived, a single grenade should be more than enough for them.
- Most of the helicopters and all the ships will arrive from the sea. To eliminate them, use the anti-aircraft installation, which can be found near the place you've started this mission (on the other side of the canal). One, two shots are more than enough to bring down a helicopter or a small ship, and bigger vessels won't survive much longer.

Additionally, twice during the whole encounter you will be able to use the upgraded version of the EMP device. When Dimah gives you the signal (an appropriate information will appear on the screen) approach the device as quickly as possible and activate it. Thanks to that, all the enemy vehicles in the area will blow up. This method is scripted and you can only use it when Dimah gives you the signal.

Your objective is to protect the EMP device, as well as Mario and try not to get yourself killed - if the screen starts flashing red, use one of the numerous terrain obstacles to hide, or simply dive into the water and wait for your health to regenerate. After using the EMP charge for the second time, your allies will appear and the mission will be over.
