Rebel Shrines are associated with a reward, which will probably interest everyone. While unlocking additional weapons may be pointless to you, as you probably have your own set of weapons you like to use, finding those shrines will help you immensely. By finding and praying at every shrine on a given island you will unlock the free fast travel on that island - even when you didn't liberate a given province. Maps in the game are huge, meaning that the possibility of a free, fast travel will come in handy to anyone.

Rebel Shrines are almost always found in the middle of nowhere, on the outskirts, some of them can be also found near monasteries. There is a total of 18 of them on the Insula Fonte island, and their distribution between different provinces is as follows:

  • 2 Rebel Shrines in the Aspera province
  • 2 Rebel Shrines in the Feno province
  • 5 Rebel Shrines in the Lacos province
  • 3 Rebel Shrines in the Lavanda province
  • 3 Rebel Shrines in the Plagia province
  • 1 Rebel Shrine in the Sirocco Sud province
  • 2 Rebel Shrines in the Soros province

When you unlock all of them, you will be given the ability to fast travel for free on the Insula Fonte island. It's worth to unlock them as early in the game as possible, to benefit from the reward when the action takes place on the first island in the game.
