Mafia 3: Kill Tommy Marcano (murdering Tommy Marcano)

Below, you will find walkthrough for the story mission whose objective is to kill Tommy Marcano. This mission unlocks automatically, after you ensure Alvarez with safe escape from New Bordeaux. You can prepare yourself for this mission (adrenaline shots, good medium-range weapon, explosives). In this mission, you will temporarily lose access to your inventory, but you will retrieve your equipment towards the end.

Meet Alcee and reach the arena

Lincoln has to change in the locker room (you will be unable to use your weapons after you do)

First, meet with Donovan in his truck and then, reach the restaurant where there is Lincoln's friend - Alcee. You will now have to go to Arcadia arena, where boxing matches are arranged. You will have 4 minutes to reach the arena, but that is plenty.

After you reach your destination, go to the side entrance. Here, let the gangsters search you twice and go to the locker room, where you have to change to fight several fights in the ring.

Boxing matches

Follow Alcee to the arena. Still, before you start each fight, and after you win, you can taunt the crowds, but this will have no effect on the fights themselves.

There are three boxing matches that you have to fight and they are not too different from the fights that you have had in the streets, during other missions. Always wait for your opponent to initiate his blow and press the counter key/button quickly. After this works (screenshot 1), start landing combinations of your own blows. Repeat this pattern until the icon (screenshot 2) shows up on the screen, which will mean that you can finish off the opponent. You have to win three fights this was.

Free yourself and kill Tommy Marcano

After you have loosened the ropes, Lincoln has to grab the torturing gangster

After the third fight, you will watch a cutscene and you will regain control of your character after Lincoln will be doused with gasoline and at the brink of dying. You have to loosen the rope by tapping W and S quickly, or lean the analog stick up and down. Just like during the boxing matches, wait until the attack icon appears by the gangster and press the correct key/button to free yourself.

Gun down Tommy and his men

If you have done things right, Lincoln will get, eliminate the first opponent and take his gun. Stand by the nearest wall and gun down Tommy and his men. Try to be accurate, because otherwise, you will have to wait for someone to come lose enough, or charge from behind the cover and pick up a gun (or ammo) quickly.

The defeated Tommy will kneel down. Come up to him and press the interaction key to finish him off.

Escape the arena

Eliminate opponents carefully and use covers

In the final part of the mission, there are quite a few demanding fights which take place during our escape from the arena, but the good news is that you can use your weapons now. You do not have to hurry too much with the escape. This is even recommended against, because in the large locations, you will encounter many enemies armed with good rifles. You yourself, can either kill opponents at a distance, or dash between covers to cut short the distance between you and them.

During the fights, keep an eye on the minimap to prevent being surprised by anyone and react quickly, whenever someone tries to throw an explosive at you. To deal with larger groups of enemies, you can use, e.g. grenades. Additionally, along your path, you can loot lockers for adrenaline shots and ammo.

Quick ride without collisions will let you escape the police

After you get out of the building, het into the sports car parked by the arena. Finally, you will have to escape the police, but this should not be too difficult. Drive fast, thanks to which you should be able to escape them quickly. If you damage the car too much change it to something else and focus on driving out of the search area.

Rewards for completing the mission: Full control over Southdowns.

Note - After this mission ends, Lincoln will be back to the estate in the marshes, where you can decide which of the bosses give full control over the district to. Just like earlier, you can give it to the underboss who already controls both rackets in Southdowns, or pick someone else (rackets will then be owned by that person).
