A new gameplay trailer for the highly anticipated game Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions has been released. As preorders kicked off today, we also learned the title's price.
If you've played Hogwarts Legacy, you've certainly missed the quidditch matches. You will soon have plenty of them, as the premiere of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions scheduled for September 3rd is getting closer. Importantly, only the digital version of the game will be released on that day - for PC, PS4, PS5, XOne, and XSX/S - physical copies will hit stores on November 8. Thus, the release dedicated to the Nintendo Switch console was delayed. The developers announced that they want to refine it and it will be released around Christmas.
With this announcement, pre-orders for the game have started. Furthermore, the developers have published a new trailer in which we can see fragments of gameplay. It looks quite good - during the game, we will play quidditch both in the single-player campaign and online.
The game will be released in two editions - standard and Deluxe. By pre-ordering any of them, you will also get a skin for the broom called Firebolt Supreme Broom (PS4 and PS5 players will receive it as part of the subscription). The enhanced version will also provide you with distinctive features from all 4 Hogwarts houses and a specific amount of in-game currency. Details can be found on the official website. The prices are as follows:
Players of Hogwarts Legacy will also get a "special gift" when they buy the game. They can count on a set of skins, including Sebastian Sallow (the character known from Hogwarts Legacy).
As for the PS4 and PS5 versions, remember that the Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions game will be released on PS Plus Essential. Subscribers will be able to pick it up from September 3 to September 30. At the moment, the title cannot be ordered in the PS Store (hence the lack of prices above).
