Possible Release Date of AC Valhalla Siege of Paris Leaked

Siege of Paris - DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla - may launch on August 5. Such information leaked from Microsoft's online store.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. August 5 - such a release date for AC Valhalla Siege of Paris was leaked from the Microsoft store.

One Twitter account dedicated to the Assassin's Creed series has published a post, in which it was announced that the launch of the Siege of Paris DLC for Assassin's Creed Valhalla could take place as early as August 5, 2021. The date was accidentally listed on Microsoft's online store.

Information about the release date of the expansion has already been removed from the store. Of course, it may have been on a so-called placeholder, text substituted in place of the actual release date. However, it is possible that this is a slip-up on the store's part. This wouldn't be the first time Microsoft has accidentally made the release date of a game or DLC public. August 5 seems all the more likely since it's a Thursday. This is a common practice for publishers with expansions for popular AAA titles.

Siege of Paris is the second expansion to AC Valhalla to come out this year. In March, Wrath of the Druids was released and met with mixed reviews. We first heard about The Siege of Paris in a leak from June, just before Ubisoft's show at E3 2021. Back then, unofficial information confirmed that Eivor would be heading to France in the next DLC, but at the same time, it was supposed to happen this November. So there is nothing left for us but to wait for Ubisoft's position on the matter.
