The reports about the game's development plans sound interesting.
  1. Developer: Respawn Entertainment
  2. Publisher: Electronic Arts
  3. Genre: FPS
  4. Platforms: PC, XONE, PS4
  5. Release date: February 4, 2019

Apex Legends, the battle royale shooter set in the universe of the Titanfall series, turned out to be the biggest hit of the year - over 25 million people have played the title during the first week. Maintaining the interest of the community will require dynamic development. The analysis of the game files provided some hints on the devs' plans in the matter.

Currently, the players compete in three-member squads. The game files, however, mention five other variants, in which the players would act as lone wolves, as well as in 2-, 6-, 12- and 24-person teams. The first two of these variations have already been reported earlier, but the other three are new.

Game files also mention bots, although they were mentioned only in connection with modes enabling us to play in 12- and 24-member teams.

Of course, it should be remembered that all this is just speculation. The fact that the information was found in game files suggests that the developers are at least considering adding such options. However, it is possible that at least part of these plans may eventually be abandoned.

Just to remind you, Apex Legends was released on February 4, this year, simultaneously on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The project employs a free-to-play model with microtransactions. Next month the first season will start, which will introduce new characters and items to the game. The creators are also planning to introduce additional maps, and according to some rumors, Team Deathmatch mode is about to be introduced as well. Finally, it is worth mentioning that so far the creators have banned sixteen thousand cheaters.
