Tactical shooter Arma 3 will soon receive the Spearhead 1944 DLC, which will enable you to play in World War II setting.

Devs announced a big expansion titled Spearhead 1944 for Arma III, which will bring this tactical shooter to World War II setting.

The DLC will be released this year. For now, the developers are unable to give a more precise release date.
The expansion will be available for purchase on Steam for €17.99.
Heavy Ordnance Works is responsible for the project.
The expansion is part of the Creator DLC program, under which Bohemia Interactive releases expansion made by other developers.
The DLC will offer a new map of 150 square kilometers recreating Normandy.
The DLc is expected to have five playable factions, more than 50 types of weapons and more than 40 types of vehicles and stationary armaments.
With all this, we will be able to play in a cooperative campaign for up to 24 players, containing seven extensive missions.
There will also be a single-player scenario (which can also be played in co-op) in the form of Der Zahnarzt. In it, members of the French movement will be ordered to eliminate a German commander residing in a castle near Marigny.
There will also be six multiplayer scenarios to be played in Combat Patrol, Escape, Warlords and Zeus modes.

On the day of the DLC's release, a data pack for users who do not own the game will be published on Steam Workshop. Subscribing to this component of the Workshop will enable those who do not own Spearhead 1944, play on multiplayer servers that use resources from this DLC. However, this will not include the terrain itself - Normandy, which, along with campaigns and scenarios, will only be available to purchasers of this DLC.
