Atomfall offers six different endings, but only the most secret one guarantees peace in a post-apocalyptic world.

When we play computer games, it's clear that many of us aim for the best possible ending, particularly if it's hidden. In most cases, however, achieving it is a difficult task, in which one wrong step will prevent us from having the "happy ending." This is roughly what the ending of Oubliette looks like in Atomfall.
This is a guide to Atomfall. In the content, you can find potential spoilers about the title.
The most favorable scenario for a post-apocalyptic Great Britain isn't impossible, but it's worth preparing for it properly.
Oubliette is considered the most secret ending of Atomfall, based on cooperation with Doctor Holder. Contrary to appearances, his request seems quite simple - the doctor wants to poison Oberon and thus permanently neutralize it. However, this is not something he will be able to do solo, so our help will be necessary.
In the Oubliette ending, we escape with Doctor Holder through the tunnels hidden under the facility. As it turns out, poisoning Oberon was the only fully effective way to neutralize it, thus abandoning all attempts at experiments in the future.
Blowing up a facility linked to other endings would only isolate it from the rest of the world temporarily, but not entirely eradicate it. We can obtain this information if we choose the option to blow up Oberon instead of poisoning it. Then we can find the recording of Dr. Holder, in which he explains that our actions only delay the moment when someone will stumble upon it again.
Unfortunately, everything has its price. Due to the pathogens implanted in us, we both have to remain in hiding for some time. Otherwise, we could fall victim to the experiments ourselves. Nevertheless, this is the most positive ending, considering the future fate of the world.
