Back 4 Blood has Gone Gold; Open Beta Starts Today

Warner Bros. Games has announced that Back 4 Blood has been completed. In addition, the game's open beta will launch today.

Warner Bros. Games has announced that Back 4 Blood has gone gold. This means that the work on it has been completed and we probably do not have to worry about any delays (casus of Cyberpunk 2077 was a rare exception to this rule).

As you may remember, Back 4 Blood will debut on October 12 this year on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game by Turtle Rock studio will be available as part of the Game Pass subscription from the day one, both on PC and Microsoft consoles.

Those interested in Back 4 Blood do not have to wait two months to check out this production. Today at noon PT the open beta of the game will start. It will last until August 16, until 10 AM.

The game will be available on all target hardware platforms. What's important, there will be a cross-play option, enabling users of different devices to play together.

During the open beta we'll be able to test two levels from the cooperative PvE campaign and two maps intended for PvP. We will be able to play as one of five human characters (out of eight that will be available in the full version of the game) and six types of zombies. All types of weapons and items are also to be available.

Many people are waiting for the game. At the hottest moment of last week's closed tests in Back 4 Blood over 100 thousand users played the game on Steam. The game's ore-orders were also the biggest bestseller of the past week on Valve's service.
