Do we have any fans of baguettes here? Now, you will also be able to show your love for them in BG3 - and quite effectively so.
If you're bored with conventional weapons in Baldur’s Gate 3, recently completed Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and still can't move on, we have something truly unique for you - here is a mod that will turn every baguette found in the game into a deadly weapon.
Sounds bizarre? Contrary to appearances, it's not such a bad idea. This baguette, slightly altered to have combat capabilities and fit the madness of the Forgotten Realms is not just useful as camp supplies, but is also dangerous. It can inflict from 7 to 14 points of damage. Additionally, if it misses, it still deals 6 points of bludgeoning damage.
Its origin is also fantastic. The idea of turning bread into a deadly weapon came to a player's mind after finishing Sandfall Interactive's bestselling RPG. They used salami as a reference point, which also serves as a rather useful weapon in vanilla BG3.
Naturally, this fantastic and entirely unserious idea was met with some serious reflections from a gameplay standpoint:
So now i have to be careful not only to not eat my owlbear egg but also my weapons??
The best and tastiest weapon mod in existence.

The mod is part of this year's BG3 Modathon, which we've already mentioned before, covering the charming dragon Zephyr. You can find the full list of mods created as part of this event on its dedicated tag on the NexusMods website. Who knows what other crazy ideas are waiting for us there?
