Activision and Treyarch have released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The footage focuses on the zombie mode, which for the first time ever will be available in the Modern Warfare sub-series.

The trailer shows how a group of operators from different countries work together with members of Task Force 141 to confront hordes of the undead. The zombie mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is not only a new story, but also a series of missions and features or, finally, a wide range of secrets waiting to be discovered.

For those people who want to learn more about the new zombie mode, the developers have prepared an extensive article (in English), which is waiting on the official website of Call of Duty.

  1. In addition to the zombie mode, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will offer a single-player campaign and a competitive-based multiplayer mode. Players will also have the opportunity to check out a huge new war map, which will be an evolution of the War Mode known from Call of Duty: WWII.
  2. The action of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will take place just after the events depicted in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Captain Price and his team from Task Force 141 must confront Vladimir Makarov, an ultranationalist and war criminal who is expanding his influence around the world. His actions will force the elite unit to take on a fight they were not ready for.
