Beautiful Shooter Available for Testing; 77,000 People Played The First Descendant on Steam
Beta testing is underway for The First Descendant, a looter shooter from Nexon. The game, which boasts beautiful graphics, has recorded its first success.
Open, week-long beta testing of The First Descendant - a looter shooter developed by Nexon - began yesterday. The game can boast its first success, as at the peak time, falling on yesterday's early afternoon, more than 77.5 thousand people played it simultaneously on Steam (per SteamDB).
In addition, the devs released two videos from the game in question. While the first one shows the beginning of the gameplay (to be precise - the first seventeen minutes), allowing for a glimpse at the phenomenal visuals, the second is a trailer that introduces us to its open beta.
- The First Descendant takes the players to the continent of Ingris, threatened by an invasion from space. In the course of the game, we take on the role of the so-called Descendants, or humanity's last hope in the fight against the invaders.
- The devs put a variety of characters at the players' disposal, each with unique weapons and skills. As we progress, we develop the protagonists, so with time we can face more and more challenges.
- The mainstay of the game are clashes with opponents, during which the key to success is skillful juggling of characters' abilities, use of various gadgets and cooperation with other players.
- Although The First Descendant allows for single-player experience, the title spreads its wings in multiplayer mode for 4 people.
