STALKER Devs and CD Projekt Announce Tons of Attractions at GDC 2023

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be shown by Nvidia and GSC Game World at GDC 2023. Numerous panels have also been announced by CD Projekt Red.

This year's edition of Game Developers Conference may prove interesting for gamers from Central Europe. The event will feature, among others. GSC Game World with an "exclusive screening" of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

The presentation will be part of a panel prepared by the developer together with Nvidia. The topic will be the use of Omniverse Audio2Face technology - an artificial intelligence algorithm that generates facial animations based on sound. The entire event will be hosted by Anton Riabchuk, animator at GSC Game World.

CD Projekt will also make an appearance at GDC 2023

CD Projekt Group will make its presence strongly felt at the March conference. Officially, no "exclusive" game shows were mentioned, which is hardly surprising. Most of the projects announced by the Polish developer are expected to be at an early stage of work.

Of course, one can delude oneself that the studio's employees will reveal something more on the occasion of one of CD Projekt Red's ten panels, which will be held at GDC 2023 from March 21 to 24. Some of them will be devoted to various aspects of Cyberpunk 2077 - be it technicals (including "building" and sound design in Night City and localization), or the storyline (including the quest design and the "three musketeers" of narrative in C2077).

Nevertheless, it is better to your expectations of these panels in check. They will all focus on issues of interest to the developers, and at most we will probably see nothing of interest to the average gamer. You can find the full schedule of GDC 2023 (starting March 20) on the official website.
