Chat's Choice Awards - Twitch Announces Its Own Awards
Twitch has announced the first edition of Chat's Choice Awards - prizes awarded by visitors to this platform. Interestingly, there will be more than one winner in each category. The community of any streamer who decides to participate in the game will be given a chance to choose their own favorites.
The calendar does not lack various awards for video games. We have, just to mention a few, BAFTs, IGF Awards, The Game Awards or the somewhat ironic Steam Awards. Twitch fans have come to the conclusion that they don't want to be inferior to the organizers of these events and have decided to organize their own award gala for the best released and upcoming games - Chat's Choice Awards.
How do these rewards work? Well, Twitch has prepared 14 categories, which include the most interesting titles released or announced during this holiday season. On September 3, 5 PM PT, a special gala will take place, during which we will get to know the winners. However, it will not be a traditional event. Every streamer on Twitch will be able to organize their own award ceremony, during which their fans will choose their personal favorites using a special plug-in (you can find the details here). As a result, Chat's Choice Awards may have many winners in each category, not one, as in the case of traditional events of this type.
Below you will find a list of all 14 award categories of Chat's Choice Awards with their short descriptions and nominated games. All games that received new trailers, gameplays or presentations or made their debut (or will make their debut) in the form of a demo, early access or full version within the given period are considered during the selection process.

The Next Twitch Blockbuster Award
Within this category, the players will be able to express their opinion on which of the aforementioned games will take first places on Twitch next year in terms of audience.

The viewers will be able to decide which of the announced novelties to the already released games look the most interesting this summer.

A category for the best demos and early access entries that launched this summer.

The Savior of Quarantine Award
Which of the mentioned titles made the quarantine more pleasant and helped to maintain mental health in the era of coronavirus pandemic?

The Top of Twitch 2020
Twitch viewers like to watch gameplay from various games. The ones listed below are among the most watched. But which of them is the real king of the website? We'll see about that next month.
