Chuck Norris and Other Action Flick Heroes in Crime Boss

This year's The Game Awards gala was full of fresh announcements. Among them was the FPS game Crime Boss: Rockay City.

1. The Czech team at INGAME Studio, founded by veterans of such series as Mafia, Vietcong, Hidden & Dangerous, Shadowgrounds, Dead Trigger or Arma, is responsible for the project.
2. The game is headed for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5.
3. The release will take place on March 28, 2023 on PC. Console versions will be released at a later date.
4. The PC edition will be sold exclusively on Epic Games Store. The store is currently running a discount that enables you to pre-order the game for $101.40, 40% cheaper than the standard price ($169). The offer will remain valid until December 12.

The game will be set in the 1990s, in the fictional Rockay City. The game is inspired by the action movies of the period, and in order to enhance the Hollywood atmosphere in Crime Boss many characters will be played by well-known actors, including Michael Madsen, Michael Rooker, Kim Basinger, Danny Glover, Damion Poitier, Danny Trejo, Vanilla Ice and Chuck Norris.

The game will enable us to play solo or in cooperative mode. The gameplay in Crime Boss: Rockay City will resemble that offered by the PayDay series, except that more emphasis will be placed on the story, and missions will be more closely interconnected within an extensive campaign with significant roguelike elements. This means during the game we will be engaged in carrying out daring heists and battling rival gangs for control of the territory.
