Just three days ago we saw the release of Cities: Skylines 2. It was already known before the release that the game will receive a number of DLCs. As it turns out, not all of them will cost us. Today, Colossal Order announced so-called Region Packs, which will introduce thousands of new objects to the strategy game for free..

The entry published on Steam, reveals that the DLCs are being developed in cooperation with modders who created content for Cities: Skylines.

  1. In total, we will receive more than 2,500 new objects. They are to be divided into packs inspired by eight regions of the world - Japan, the UK, the east and west coasts of the US, China, France, Germany and Eastern Europe.
  2. The content will be availble for download via the Paradox Mods platform. At this point, however, it is not known when it will hit the hands of players.

There is no denying it, it will be good to see new content for Cities: Skylines 2, because what is available at the moment is quite poor. This is especially evident from the house models - the settlements are actually a collection of identical buildings. On the other hand, however, the game has bigger problems than a shortage of content, with very poor optimization at the forefront. Although the developers at Colossal Order have already released the first small patch (hotfix), the game's stability still leaves much to be desired.

  1. Players suggest that teeth may be responsible for Cities: Skylines 2's problems
  2. Cities: Skylines 2 Review - A Revolution, 2.0, or 1.5?
