Company of Heroes 3 - How to Change Keybinds; Use WASD!

Company of Heroes 3 is a tactical strategy game that puts the player in the reality of the World War II. Although the title will not be released until 23 February 2023, you can already take part in playtests. Considering the competitive aspect of the game, it is very important to have properly assigned keys. It is possible that you may not quite like the default layout offered by the game, especially given that it uses arrows to move the camera around the map. In this article, we will tell you how to change keybinds and use WASD in CoH 3.

Company of Heroes 3 - How to Change Keybinds

1. Open Settings.
2. Select the Controls tab.
3. Press the View And Remap Controls button.
4. If you want to change the settings for the first time, the game will offer you to create your own profile. Name it, this will allow you to continue.

It is worth noting, however, that during the playtests not all keys were assignable - the Orbit function, for example, was coded under ALT without the possibility to change it. It is unclear whether this was only implemented for 'early access' or whether it is a binding decision for the release version of CoH 3 as well. We will have to wait until the launch to find out.

Company of Heroes 3 - How to Use WASD

1. Follow the same steps as in the paragraph above, namely go to the location: Settings, Controls, View And Remap Controls.
2. Select the Camera tab.
3. Assign Pan Left, Pan Right, Pan Up and Pan Down to the corresponding WASD keys.
